Professor Raj Ranjan and Professor Savvas Papagiannidis to Join IEEE Committees
We are thrilled to announce that two members of the National Edge AI Hub have joined IEEE committees. Professor Raj Ranjan, Director of the EPSRC National Edge AI Hub, has been appointed to the Executive Committee of the IEEE Technical Committee on Distributed Processing (TCDP). This appointment strengthens the synergy between the Hub’s mission to ensure safe, resilient AI at the edge and TCDP’s global leadership in advancing distributed computing systems. Professor Savvas Papagiannidis, Director of Research Impact at the National Edge AI Hub, will be joining Roba Abbas on the Socio-Technical Systems (STS) Technical Committee of the IEEE Society on the Social Implications of Technology. The committee is dedicated to nurturing an international and interdisciplinary community of practice focused on the operationalisation of socio-technical systems theory towards knowledge and value co-creation.
