The National Edge AI Hub is supported by two advisory boards: the Academic Advisory Board and the Industry Advisory Board. Together, these boards provide strategic guidance and expertise to help shape the Hub’s research, innovation, and engagement activities. By bringing together leading academics and industry professionals, the advisory boards ensure that the Hub’s work remains at the forefront of Edge AI research while addressing real-world challenges and opportunities across a range of sectors.
Academic Advisory Board
The National Edge AI Hub Academic Advisory Board is made up of academics from UK and international universities and institutions, and serves as a forum for focused discussions on Edge Computing and AI. The advisory board contributes to the National Edge AI Hub’s mission of progressing the academic research on Edge AI as well as applied Edge AI within a number of industry sectors. Our advisory board members include experts within a wide range of academic disciplines, including Computing, The Internet of Things, Cyber Systems Engineering, and Transport Electrification and Smart Grids.

The board contributes to the Hub’s mission by providing industry perspectives on emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities in Edge AI, helping to ensure that research activities align with real-world needs and deliver meaningful impact.
