Securing Edge AI

The School of Computing, Ulster University (Belfast), supported by the National Edge Artificial Intelligence Hub, is pleased to announce a cybersecurity workshop addressing the security challenges facing Edge AI, IoT, and embedded systems operating under resource constraints.

The programme will cover:
– How AI is reshaping the cybersecurity landscape
– Threat modelling for constrained devices
– Lightweight cryptographic protocols for secure communications and authentication
– Secure firmware and OTA update strategies
– Edge network intrusion detection

The workshop is open to MSc and PhD students, researchers, academics, and industry professionals, and will include invited talks, a poster session, and networking opportunities, with the chance to present ongoing research and receive feedback from peers.
